Haul - Boots, Superdrug and Holland & Barret

Hey Lovelies;

I wanted to start of by apologizing for not posting on here for so long, been a good 3 weeks or so..
Saying that though, I thought that a haul would be a nice opportunity to get back into the swing of things, as I did do a cheeky bit of shopping today, not gunna lie!
This haul is both a mix of exciting and not quite so exciting purchases, but
I hope that you enjoy overall :)

Superdrug

The very first thing that I picked up were two of the Tea Tree Mud Masks. I have tried a couple of items from superdrugs Tea Tree range before, which I enjoyed using, so I thought that I may as well give these a whirl, especially as I do want to get more into my skin care, and I guess doing a face mask once a week is a nice start, they are only 89p a go which I think is brilliant :)

I have been using the Tea Tree Facial Cleansing Wipes for around 5 months now, I really do enjoy using them, whether its to take my makeup off or to give my skin a refresh on a hot day, I just love them, and they smell so good! These were £1.49, which I don't think is bad at all.

When I went to the next isle along, I couldn't help but notice these face masks, (think I've gone a little face mask crazaaayy). They are 99p each, but at the moment they are on a 4 for 3 offer, which I just couldn't resist for the life of me, so of course I picked up 4, again I haven't actually tried any of these before, but am hoping they are as good as they look!

I then picked up some curved nail scissors, just because I needed some desperately, due to losing my old ones :( these ones are coated with 24 carat gold apparently, so so it says :P and at £3.99, why not!

Next I noticed that there was a 3 for 2 offer on Rimmel, and as I had the intention of purchasing some mascara anyway, I thought that I'd make the most of it, by picking up they're new Mega Plush Volume Express mascara, one of Scandal Eyes Shadow Sticks in the shade Bulletproof Beige and one of the new Salon Pro nail varnishes in the shade 500 Peppermint. I am looking forward to trying each of these items, as I have never purchased a Rimmel mascara which has let me down, the shadow stick, I have only tried it on the back of my hand so far, its a gorgeous champagne shade,with a hint of gold, so soft, creamy and was easy to blend when I used my finger, and the nail varnish? well I'm just in love with mint at the moment, it is a much lighter green than its appearing in the photo, almost pastel.

I am almost out of my Batiste Dry Shampoo so I thought I'd pick of two of the extra large bottles, which we're on a half price offer of £2.48. Not going to lie, I could not live without this stuff, I hate the idea of washing my hair every single day, and this stuff just helps me get through, without feeling paranoid, which is great.

I had left my Blistex which I was almost out of at work, so whilst in Superdrug I thought that I'd pick another one up, I'll tell you what, I absolutely love this stuff, its great, I mainly use it first thing in the morning before I start applying my makeup, this allows lipstick to be applied smoothly, and I also like to apply it after I've taken off all of my makeup, and cleansed my face before going to bed, ensures that I wake up with lovely soft lips every time. This baby is a staple product for me, and at £2.59 you cant really go wrong.

The very last thing that I picked up whilst in my local Superdrug was the Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle. Whilst in the box it had a proper screw on lid, but in the box its self they provide you with a new lid, which is actually a pippet (don't know if thats how you spell it) like you used to use in your science lessons, this makes application so easy, you just pop a little bit onto your nail and massage it in. On the front of the box it states;

'59% longer nails, Instantly smooth cuticles. Guaranteed!'
And on the back of the box it says;

A breakthrough nail treatment designed to support
fast natural nail growth, as it perfects cuticles'

Sounds quite promising to me, and at a price of £7.45, I really hope it does the trick. My nails arent in great condition due to shop work, lately I feel so self conscious of them so yeah hopefully this product will live up to expectations.

Boots

One of my work friends used a perfume after our shift, and when I asked her what it was I was so shocked to find out that it was this! I've never really been keen on the So... scents, but this one is really quite nice, sweet, but a real nice sweetness, I really am useless at describing scents! :) But I just had to pick it up, at only £4.23 down from £6.35, it was bargain-ness!

As I said earlier I am on a mission to get my nails into better condition, so I picked up a very cute pack of three mini nail files for just £2.00.

I have only ever used the cheapest primers possible, so I thought i'd try one with a bit more of a hefty price tag, and at £19.50 I hope its a good one! It does have in the product its self, light reflecting particles, and if you dont know already I love any product which could make my skin look brighter, more luminous and ensure my makeup stays put all day long, I cannot wait to try this one!

The last thing I picked up in Boots is quite boring, but I thought that I may as well mention them, it was two packets of hair bands, and as all of my previous ones have gone walkies, I was in need! I also love that they dont have that annoying bit of metal on them, I always used to manage to ping my fingers with it, and oh my it hurt every time!!

Holland & Barrett

I only picked up one item in Holland & Barrett. As some of you, well most of you may not know, I have been Type 1 Diabetic since the age of 13, I have read so many great reviews on the Vitabiotics Diabetone Tablets, that I thought I'd give them a go. If they do nothing for me then I dont have to buy them again, but if they do, do something like the reviews said online, then I am guaranteed to be purchasing them again once I run out. They are meant to help with the control of blood sugar levels, plus a lot of the people writing the reviews said that these tablets gave them so much energy, which would be a plus as I been feeling quite tired lately. They have a price tag of £10.55, with a months worth of tablets in each box.

Anyway that is it for todays post. If anyone would like me to review any of the products mentioned, or to do a look with the makeup shadow stick, then please just leave a comment to let me know! Also any ideas for future posts would be much appreciated :)
